Peter and I live in Calgary, AB and approx. 5 years ago bought our first house.  Over the years our family has grown to include 1 dog (Scout) and 2 cats (Scrabble & Clover), I have promised not to bring any other animal home without Peter's written consent.

Our free time is usually taken up by hiking, camping, snowboarding or just relaxing at home or with friends.

We have always talked about a destination wedding and hope that all of our family and friends are able to attend and celebrate the week with us!

We met on New Year's Eve in Panorama, British Columbia.  Peter came out West to work at Pano for the 2001/2002 snowboarding season and I had been up there with friends celebrating the new year.  I spent almost every weekend at Pano after we met and after the season was over Peter moved to Calgary.

The proposal was almost 4 years ago on the August long weekend in Carlsbad, CA.  I was on the road for an office closure project and Peter showed up at my hotel door with ring in hand.  Needless to say I was SHOCKED, cudos to Peter for pulling off a flawless covert operation.
